Verified Reviewer |Sick of trying to get to talk to some one ,not an automated, that doesn't give you the answer to speak to a person
Not a happy customer, have tried on several occasions to speak to some one but to no avail , when I do get through it says " it's closed"
See if payoff received
I called to see if my payoff was received. Five timesI could not get a human no matter the prompt I choose. Ridiculous.
User's recommendation: Don’t finance through them.
Toyota customer service is the worst you can get they treat customers like they don’t matter

User's recommendation: Try another company who appreciates your business

Verified ReviewerDo Better Toyota…
It is physically impossible to reach a human being on the phone. I've been waiting around for almost an hour and still hear nothing but waiting music.
When I picked up, I was told that the wait was only 13 minutes. I am having trouble with my app. I called over one week ago with this issue and believed that the issue would be resolved by now, but I haven't received any emails back or any updates. My app is still not fixed and I need to make a payment.
I really love my new car, but if I had known that Toyota had such terrible customer service, I might have gone with my other option.
I'm seriously considering not renewing once this car is paid off. It's 2024 and I expect better.

Verified ReviewerPayment
Their *** website doesn't let you make a payment that shows on a weekend day. So if your payment is due on the 14th like mine was, it would then show the payment as 30 days past due, even though I attempted to make it before the date!
Such shady business practices.
I'll never buy another Toyota as this same issue caused me to be 30 days late in September 2023. So, I watch them very closely.

Literally can't get a real person on the phone
I have called multiple times trying different ways to try to get a real agent because I have a question that isn't on the regular bot menu. No matter what option I choose, I can't get a real person.
User's recommendation: Don't bother calling to talk to a person

Verified ReviewerCan't get lien release
The company claims they are only able to receive faxes. I had to drag the email address from them.
I sent several emails with documentation, but they say none were received. They do not respond to emails.
The phone service must operate from home, as children are evident in the background. This is outrageously poor service for such a significant company.
Preferred solution: a lien release for a corrected title.
User's recommendation: Go directly to top. Don't waste your time with underlings.
Make payment arrangement
The agent took care of all my concerns. Am very happy with the results of the phone call. Would call again with concerns

Verified ReviewerNewly designed website does not work!
Every month I need to check how much I'm paying in interest and how much in principle (this is a business account). They redesigned their website I think in November and ever since it hasn't worked right.
Any time I hit "transactions" it says "Something Went Wrong" "Please Try Again" "Go Back". I reported it and they blew me off (sent me an email where they said it was fixed but it wasn't).
Their written statements also don't give a breakdown of what was paid, which is a problem I don't have with any other loan. The maddening thing is every time I open the website, they tell me what a fantastic, easy to use website it is!!
- Website does not work
Preferred solution: a website that works
User's recommendation: Get a loan from someplace that will give you a breakdown of what you're paying for
Horrible experience purchasing a leased vehicle from Toyota
I think Toyota is probably one of the worst companies Ive ever dealt with my entire life. I think a group of 10-year-olds could run a company better than they do.
Toyota Financial has been a nightmare purchase a vehicle. I already leased for four years from them through my bank And they have absolutely no idea what theyre doing, theyre confused and unorganized. They kept sending me the same papers over and over again, one of their agents said that they had the check and the documents and everything was fine and then I got a letter in the mail saying that they needed the stuff and then I sent it via email and then they still sent me another letter saying that I could be in prison if I dont get this done Im very confused. Another thing is they are sending me the title of the vehicle even though Im financing it and its not truly my vehicle, so Im the one that consumer is going to have the title in hand and I have to go to the DMV myself to get things switched over.
I do not understand why the bank or Toyota does not handle this.
I would never buy a vehicle from Toyota ever again, even though I love their vehicles. I will have to switch to Honda.
User's recommendation: Never
I’m so sorry it’s a wonderful company. I pressed the wrong button so sorry.

Verified ReviewerWear on seat bolster
At 24K, I noticed wear on my seat bolster. I thought it was odd, as my seat fully retracts and stays there until I get back in and start my car. It's a memory seat position. Toyota says that's normal wear and tear. I bet it wouldn't be if I decided to trade the car in at one of their dealerships or if I decided to upgrade their lease. Never again. Leather should last at least 75K before degrading to this point.
I am buying seat covers now, so it doesn't deteriorate much further. I noticed that it's their seat belts that are causing the wear, not my butt.
So, Toyota, forget about ever seeing another dime from me for a car. You're just as bad as the American companies and their lame excuses.
Oh, and your website and financial services site are awful.

Preferred solution: Satisfaction and a new seat cover.

Verified ReviewerImpossible to reach a person!
My God, Toyota Financial Services sucks! They deliberately make it impossible to speak with a person.
I made numerous attempts to speak with a person, but no luck. Thanks to a recent review on Pissed Consumer, I learned one needs to state "customer service" at the very beginning. Even then, once I requested the call-back instead of waiting thirty-five minutes on hold, I still had to go through a long, drawn-out, ridiculous menu. What in the *** happened with TFS?!
There are many reasons people need to speak with a rep; not everything online or on the ridiculous automated system covers what customers are needing.
We'll see if TFS really calls us in thirty-five minutes. Just phreakin worthless!!
Preferred solution: Fix your system!
User's recommendation: Say customer service at the very beginning of the call. Good Luck. I swear one would be better off with a phreakin note in a bottle!
