Will not let me change the due date

I bought a 2010 Tundra brand new a year ago. Second one that i have had.

When i first purchased the vehicle they set my due date for the first of the month and I told them right away that that day will not work for me due to the fact that i have alot of bills due at the first. I asked them to move it to the middle of the month and the dealer said I could call TF and they would change it. I have been trying for a year now and they still will not change it. They even go as far as calling my work and embarrassing me making it look like im not paying my payments when i religiously pay them around the middle of the month, when in reality they are not doing their job.

I have been told in person 3 times that the date will be changed, and now they are saying that I have to sign a form they mail me.

This is the first time anyone has told me about a form and I have never recieved one before. I wont be using TF again, ever.

Tito-I've never really had any of the problems I see on here...pretty sure Toyota has been around for a while...doesn't look like they will going any where soon. Not sure what you mean by "lousy", most of my experiences have been pretty pleasant.

Most of the complaints I see are from people who have fallen behind and feel harrassed when a creditor calls to collect. How is that Toyota's fault?

Guest

Dean, TFS customer service is the lousiest I have ever dealt with and that's an understatement. Its just amatter of time before it catches up to Toyota!

Guest

I can tell that you are not telling the entire truth in this situation...first-you should have picked a due date that worked for you at the dealer. Second-if your account was ever current, your due date could have been changed.

Third, Toyota Financial is not open to the public and you wouldn't have been told "in person" that your due date would be changed.

Do this...pay your bill on time, like you said you would when you signed your contract, then be polite and asked for a change if you need it-don't get on here and act like it's the fault of anyone other than yourself. Thanks.

BS tomuch Bs Again and again we had to do some thing for toyota .there charge 30% moor then valum I made a ballon payment of $2600 on a Toyota tundra as I was being deployed overseas( I am a Major in the AF Reserves.) I was told not to worry that I could and would resume payments when I returned. Well in the meantime because I skipped a payment even though I had made over a 3K payment in advance.

Toyota ruined my credit. I have had issue credit cancelled and my credit score dropped over Toyota.

i have owned 2 Toyotas and have never missed a payment. I will never finance a car thru TOYOTA again!!!!

dude, you are a ***. I also bought a Toyota and had the same issue.

They sent me a form and by the next due date it was changed.

You expect me or anyone else to believe you have been trying for a year? You must be smoking something mighty strong.

Toyota financial bad customer service

I had my toyota financial previous account set up for automated bill payments. I have removed my bank information from toyota financial website to make sure that I dont get overcharge (since that account was already paid off by the new dealership) I have called toyota 800-874-**** since the amount of $363.29 was deducted from my banks account. Toyota financial did verify over the phone that they have received the total amount of vehicle from my new dealership. I told toyota financial to please reverse or refund me since that payment was not suppose to be deducted from my banks account. I have prove that it was actually removed but for some reason I was charged anyways. I was told by toyota that I will have to contact my bank to reverse the charge. I called my bank and was told that since that payment was deducted from toyota finalcial, they will have to process the refund. I asked toyota financial if the check can be rushed to me but they said that the only way will be by getting a letter from my bank. I asked them why should I be going through all the trouble when their website did not work or they were the ones who over charged me? The lady was not helpful and said that check cannot be rushed. I asked if I can go to the toyota of plano texas (where the previous vehicle was leased) and pick up the check? Again they said that it was not possible. I want toyotal financial to rush me my refund since I did what I had to do, they received full paiment for previous vehicle and I am now missing 363.29 from my banks account that I did not authorize.

I also had a similar 'experience.' 5th Toyota - first (and last) time with Toyota Financial. I'll use my own financing next time Thank You Very Much!

Guest

Anonymous, if this is true, why don't you post your name? If you are as squeaky clean as you say you are, i'm sure Toyota reads these and they may contact you to resolve the issue.

Said i was late on my first payment

They sent me my first bill and i sent it off just a day or two after i received the bill and they said they got it one day late. They sent me the second bill and i sent off the same day that i got the bill and as of May 8th they still haven't posted it to my account. I know mail from Colorado only takes 2 to 3 days to get to California not 7 to 10 days. The first payment took 7 days and the second one is still not there and i sent it on May 2nd. I know they have a post office box and i think they do not pick the mail up in a timely matter. Some companies have been known not to pick up their mail from a post office box just so they can charge a late payment.

I send all my bills through the Post Office because the Post Office in trouble. Paying on line is now free but just wait a bit and it will no longer be free. Nothing in life is free you will be paying for it one way or another.

Guest

Try paying online you can sign up for free on their website and just submit a payment from your checking account. It might work out better for you then sending it through snail mail.

Wow...and I think anyone that attempts to read this just thought the same thing.

I made an online bill pay by mistake in January and they still have not refunded me my money.

I paid Toyota Financial $300 by mistake in January of 2011, it is now April 11th and they still have not refunded me my money. I have called at least once a week for the last 4 months, they keep telling me that they have cut the check and sent it, but it has not arrived. Please be very careful when making on-line payments, my account was closed over a year ago and I was tired one night and did not even notice the mistake until the company I was intending to pay, Wells Fargo Financial, sent me a bill with a late fee saying I never paid my January bill, that's when I realized my error. Granted it was my mistake, but they should have immediately sent me back my 300. Instead, I had to take alot of time having my bank verify that I actually made the payment and they have been giving me the run around for 4 months now!

This is disheartening. I made the same mistake with them regarding my final payment this month. Now I am worried that I will never receive my refund.

Toyota inept at state to state transfers.

I received a car almost 3 months ago and TFS is so inept at the process of state to state transfers. I have not been able to drive this car because it does not have plates. They insisted on handling all of the paperwork for DMV and the transfer. All I do is make car payments and insurance payments, and all of the rest is out of my hands. Dealing with uninformed customer service reps. Worst experience of my life. This has been a nightmare. Never buy another Toyota and most certainly never use Toyota financial again. ANd to think that I offered to pay the car in full and was told that I could not

Toyota

In May 2007, I purchased a 2005 Toyota Sienna XLE at an annual percentage rate of 10.35%. The total finance charge $14,087.08. Amount financed $39,973.40 with total payments being $54,060.48. To date I've paid Toyota over $30,000 of that loan. The high percetnage rate and financing has made it impossible for me to trade this car for another because I'm upside down as they say. The fiance division of the company definitely needs training. They are very unprofessional and very immature. They act as if Toyota is the only car company in America. They show no respect or appreciation for their customers. I wonder if the President of Toyota is aware of his finance division. They try to repossess your car so that they can resell it. However, the only problem is that they end through their arrogance losing a lot of money because they won't get as much as you would have paid had you kept the loan. In the long run they end up damaging the name and reputation of their company. The finance division needs to be investigated. I believe that they lossed one of my payments. The commercials are a bunch of bull. Look at all of the recalls.

Toyota Finacial Services

I have read alot of how Toyota Financial website is always down,I noticed this too along other problems related to the site,I pay the extra $5.00 and pay over the phone with the automatic service, its sad you got to pay them to take your payment,I would love to know where that money goes, anyways just pay over the phone its alot easier,I have made double payments on accident a few times, the money is never returned to me rather just applied to the next payment,I have never had rude service with them yet,the reviews I been reading are alarming, just hope I never have to go through that.

I got a taste of this today! I'm so disappointed.

I called corporate and they didn't seem to care!

I will no longer buy another Toyota! I'm looking to trade my 2010 highlander for anything other than a Toyota!

Guest

Ditto on the above complaint! Toyota Financial is truly disgraceful.

As of today, 5/5/11, I have been unable to make an online payment to these people. This has been going on for several months now. It appears that their incompetent IT personnel can't seem to get their mobile website operational. When I called today to complain for something like the 20th time, I was told to try logging in later because they were doing an upload to the system.

I have had it and I refuse to pay money to pay by phone. Toyota Corporate is no help because they don't care. They got the sale and that's all they care about. Toyota Corporate is no help in dealing with Toyota Financial.

Per Corporate: They are a separate entity from TFS.

Huh? They both suck!

TOYOTA - they Harrass me continuously, without stop, over & over

Toyota calls me every day. I am only due for one payment. Yet they call me, and if they don't get a live person to talk to, they will call anybody they have a number for. I made the mistake one day of calling from a distant friends phone, when I had wired the payment through Western Union. They now have this persons phone number, and as soon as they call my house and leave a message, they call my friends number. They tell me they are skip tracing me. I am not hiding. I asked them, "So, if you can't talk to me (cause I'm at work), you just keep calling all the numbers that have ever called in on my account?" They said YES. For that very reason, they will never get a call from my cell phone. I don't need 2 phones getting the same harrassment. They are so screwed up. I can't wait to finish paying this loan off in 2011 and will never buy from them again. They really need to be sued by someone who has the $$, and take them under. I hate them. This is my 5th Toyota, and my last. I will never buy another one.

I get at least 5 phone calls per day from TFS. In 2008 I got an extension on my loan, and for some reason they sent me a check that said "Refund" on it, so I assumed it was part of my extension.

One year later TFS started calling me and telling me I was late on my loan. I had been paying perfectly so there was no reason. They said I had bounced a check! Then they said they had sent me a payment refund and it was a mistake on their part and consequently I was marked as late on one month payment rather than them tacking on the payment to my loan as they should have.

Cut to present day and after many many attempts at trying to get them to fix this problem, they have now charged me almost $300 in late fees and say I am one month behind, still. I want to sue. I have paid off $13,000 and still have $7,000 to go, and will not tolerate these calls. THank goodness I can turn the ringer off with my new cell phone for their 3 different #'s that they call from.

I tell everyone I can to NOT USE TFS! If anyone is an attorney considering another class action against them, I'm in!

I have all the accounting and proof of their abuse. Let's SUE THE BASTARDS!

Guest

I bought a new toyota in 2006 I prepaid for oil changes there is an expiration date on these so beware. So now the coupons are worthless they will only honor them for 1 year after the expiration date.

I feel this is a rip off due to the fact I still have 2 coupons left that are paid for and am being told they are worthless. I have kept up on my services but don't drive alot.

Costumers beware! This is totally unfair!

Guest

I hope these idiots get laid off and then lets hear them try to make a payment, then they wiill commit suicide I hope LOL

Guest

Hey Marksmilitaria - I've seen your other comments and you are just like your name. Go find somebody else to pick on your own size.

None of you know what you are talking about. I've now paid the loan off, so I will never have to deal with TOYOTA again. And, I think you work for them, and that's so sorry, that they have to pay their employees to blog for them. hahahahahaha I never ran from them, and wasn't crying, and I'm not a deadbeat.

It's a free country, unless I live in your little brain, and I don't. Thank GOD.

Guest

Sounds like Toyota Financial pays their help to blog!

Guest

FIRST OFF, IF YOU ARE DUE FOR "ONE PAYMENT", YOUR BEHIND. NO ONE CALLS BECAUSE YOU ARE CURRENT.

TRY PAYING ON TIME ITS AMAZING HOW CREDITORS DON'T CALL WHEN YOU PAY ON TIME. OH YEAH AND LEARN TO READ YOUR CONTRACT. I'M SURE IT SAYS TO PAY BY A SPECIFIC DATE. NOT JUST WHEN YOU FEEL LIKE IT.

IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE TERMS LEARN TO PAY IN CASH ON YOUR OWN WITH OUT ANY HELP OR LEARN TO PAY ON TIME.

DON'T GET ON A WEB BLOG AND CRY ABOUT HOW YOU PURCHASED SOMETHING YOU CAN HARDLY AFFORD IN THE FIRST PLACE. :grin :grin :grin :grin :grin :grin :grin :grin :grin :grin :grin :grin :grin :grin :grin :grin :grin :grin :grin :grin

Guest

First of all, comment #1, you don't know how to spell and why are you crying. #2, why are you screaming?

Neither one of you know what you are talking about. I am not a deadbeat, and I do pay my bill every month. I said I am due for "one" payment. Can you read?

Actually, I am a lady whose husband died of a massive heartattack at the age of 44, so see, I am not a deadbeat after all. Go scream at someone else, ok.

Guest

Sue them for what? Because they want their money you promised?

Quit crying and pay up you DEATBEAT!!!! :sigh :sigh :sigh :cry :cry :cry :cry

Guest

Toyoda has nothing to with your trouble, it rests 100% with you.

PAY YOUR LOAN WHEN YOU ARE OBLIGATED, QUIT TRYING TO RUN AND HIDE, PERIOD!!!

yOU ARE WHAT WE CALL A WORTHLESS DEADBEAT!!!! :( :(

Toyota Financial Services Terrible Service

Toyota Financial Services is the worst car loan servicer I've ever had. I highly recommend that, if possible, finance your car thru anybody other than Toyota Financial Services. I won't even go into the problems I had with them, when I relocated from Illinois to Florida. But a year later when I've moved from one side of Florida to the other, they refuse to accept my "change of address" request, AND, out of the clear-blue, have stopped sending paper statements, without notice. Don't finance your car with them - at ANY cost. You'll be sorry..!!

Good luck getting a problem solved or a straight answer. They seem to hide behind a 1-800 number and call center.

No company directory and no direct access phone numbers. It is nearly impossible to get an accurate answer because the question and answer must go through customer service representitives who usually screw up either the question or the answer.

Guest

They took my car without warning, I was two months late from over one year ago. THen they sent me a bill threatening me they will do whatever it takes to get remaining balance of ****.** They are greedy pigs.

I paid 330 a month for four years, and they put a brand new loan from a car I had only one month from them (trade in)they put the whole amount onto a 2005 FOrd!!!!! I will do bankruptcy unfortuntatly.

I have had it. You are right, toyota financial is the worst company on the planet.

Guest

We LOVE our 2010 Venza, but hate the Financial Service. Long story short, logging into our account is horrible.

We log in only to make a payment, after the payment is made there is no confirmation saying that the payment took. So we made a payment on the 30th of April, they call me on the 25th of May wanting over $1300, what the ef? I told them this was the 1st time I knew of that the payment never took or was processed, and then they throw a late fee on top of that. I asked them about a grace period and they said they give a 10 day grace period.

So with our bill due on the 12th grace period is up on the 23rd then they decide to call after they apply the late fee. So while talking to a "Representative" he talks to us like we have never owned a car or ever had a bill, (there is a reason why our credit score is 730+) If it was not for the 0% interest that we got financing the car I would have gone a whole nother route, I am almost thinking about taking my business somewhere else and paying the Interest instead.

Toyota Financial

I mailed a check to pay off my Toyota. Yet, Toyota did not endorse my check and it was returned. When I called to talk to my bank, they said Toyota should have endorsed it, but they didn't and it is their fault. When I then called Toyota Financial, they said to mail another check. They said I would be late on my payment and it would affect my credit rating. Yet, I paid off my vehicle (I don't have enough money to purchase 2 vehicles!)...and I am the one get punished even though I mailed a check on time (1 week prior to due date).

Go figure...Went into a toyota site last month for my payoff number. but now that site appears to have been deleted.
